Ingredients
1 1/2 lbs fresh green beans, trimmed and cut into 2 inch pieces
1 1/2 cups water
1/4 cup butter
1 tbsp white sugar
3/4 tsp garlic salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 1/2 tsp chopped fresh basil
2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
Preparation
- Place beans and water in large sauce pan. Cover and bring to a boil. reduce heat to low and simmer until tender, about 10 minutes. Drain and set aside,
- Melt butter in skillet over medium heat. Stir in sugar, garlic salt, pepper and basil. Add tomatoes and stir gently, just until soft. Pour tomato mix into beans and toss gently to blend.
