Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef

1 lb. italian sausage

6 strips bacon

1 large onion

1 green pepper

2 stalks celery

1 c. sliced black olives

1 c. sliced green olives

16 oz. can pineapple tidbits

1 c. sliced mushrooms

6 cloves garlic

28 oz. can whole tomato

28 oz. can diced tomato

28 oz. can crushed tomato

12 oz. can tomato paste

1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

1 tablespoon salt

1 tsp. sugar

1/4 c. extra virgin olive oil

Preparation

Chop onion, green pepper, celery, mushrooms and garlic. Mix together with olive oil, salt and Italian seasoning in a large sauce pan. Brown meats in separate skillet. Add to sauce pan cans of tomato, salt and black and green olives. Bring to a boil then add meat. Cover and simmer for 2 hours. Stir occasionally. Add sugar and can of pineapple tidbits with some of the juice. simmer for another hour. Stir occasionally. Serve over favorite pasta!
