Ingredients
1/2 cup of extra v. olive oil
1/4 cup of balsamic vinegar
1/2 cup of chopped fresh basil
1 garlic clove, diced
Juice of 1 lemon (and zest)
salt and pepper to taste
7 ounces or 8 cups of mixed greens
1 cup of sliced strawberries
1/2 cup of diced manchego cheese(or any hard, aged cheese)
1 loaf of french or italian bread
Preparation
Mix the first 6 ingredients to make the vinagrette. Add the sliced strawberries and set aside.
Hand torn the loaf of bread into small, bite size piezes.
In a large bowl, mix the greens, the manchego cheese and the bread pieces, add the strawberries with vinagrette and toss.
