cup milk

banana, cut into chunks

teaspoon cinnamon

1/4

teaspoon nutmeg

teaspoons oil

slices whole wheat bread

Preparation

In blender container, combine all ingredients except bread; blend until smooth. Pour into pie pan.

Heat large skillet or griddle over medium heat until hot or to 350°F. Lightly grease hot skillet. Soak bread in banana mixture, turning to coat both sides. Place bread in skillet; cook 5 to 7 minutes or until golden brown, turning once. If desired, serve with butter, additional sliced fresh bananas and maple syrup.
