Ingredients
10 sprigs fresh thyme
2 yellow onions, sliced
4 garlic cloves, crushed
2 bottles of good Belgian beer (ie, Chimay or Duvel)
Kosher salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
1 whole chicken, cut up
Preparation
Mix first 5 ingredients together in a large bowl. Place chicken parts in bowl, cover and marinate for up to 24 hours in refrigerator.
Remove from refrigerator 2 hours before grilling and bring to room temperature.
Grill over medium heat for 35-40 minutes until cooked.
