For the broccoli
110g/4oz purple sprouting broccoli, trimmed
For the dressing
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp honey
4 water chestnuts, diced
Topping
toasted pine nuts
Preparation
- Bring a large pan of water to the boil. Add the broccoli and par-boil for two to three minutes and drain.
- Heat a grill pan and chargrill the broccoli until nicely coloured.
- To make the dressing, mix together the honey, soy sauce and water chestnuts.
- Toast pine nuts in pan with a knob of butter over medium heat until brown.
- Serve the broccoli warm, drizzled with the dressing
