Ingredients

1/3 C olive oil

2 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed

1/4 C Italian parsley, chopped

4 sprigs each thyme and rosemary

4 20 oz bone in NY Strip steaks

freshly ground pepper and kosher salt

1/2 lemon

Preparation

Combine oil and garlic in a small saucepan and warm over low heat for 2 min. cool thoroughly, then add parsley thyme and rosemary. Divide the seasoned oil equally between 2 bowls. Brush steaks with 1/2 of seasoned oil and let sit at room temp 20 min. Season steaks lightly. Grill to your taste. After turning brush with marinade in second bowl. When done to your taste, remove to platter tent with foil and allow to rest 5 min before cutting
