Ingredients
1 kg. (2.2 lbs) fresh fish fillets
1/4 c. fresh lemon juice
1/4 c. soy sauce
1 Tbl. fresh grated ginger
1 Tbl. crushed garlic
1/4 - 1/2 tsp. fresh ground pepper
Preparation
Combine all ingredients except the fish.
Add the fillets and rub the marinade well into the fish. Allow to marinate refrigerated for a minimum of 1 hour. (Large, thick fillets may be marinated overnight.)
Place the fish on a hot, well greased grill. Watch the sides of the fillets to notice when the raw color of the fish changes to an opaque color, then turn. The fish should look well done on the outside, but not overly dried out inside.
