Ingredients
12 lady apples, cored
1 lb baby asparagus
6 thin slices of Canadian bacon
1 lemon
1 tablespoon olive oil

Preparation
Preheat oven or grill to 400 degrees. Wash and core lady apples. Rub apple insides with lemon and olive oil. Trim asparagus stalks to one inch longer than apple height. Divide stalks into bundles that will fit inside cored apples. Wrap bundles with bacon and stuff into apples. Brush outside of apples with olive oil and thread sideways onto skewers. Roast in the oven or on the grill, taking care to flip once so that apples cook evenly. Cook about twenty minutes or until bacon appears done.
