Ingredients

3/4 cup red wine

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons each: olive oil, fresh orange juice

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

1 teaspoon each: orange zest, lemon zest, soy sauce

1/2 teaspoon each: curry powder, salt, freshly ground pepper

1 flank steak, about 2 pounds

Preparation

1 Combine all ingredients except the steak in a bowl; whisk until well combined. Flatten out the flank steak in a large, shallow nonaluminum dish. Pour the marinade over; cover. Marinate 2-4 hours in the refrigerator.

2 Prepare a grill or grill pan for medium-high heat. Remove the steak from the marinade; grill 5-7 minutes per side for medium-rare. Place on a cutting board to rest, 5 minutes. Thinly slice the steak on the diagonal and against the grain.
