Ingredients

One onion for each adult guest.

Real butter

Salt

Pepper

Aluminum foil for wrapping

Preparation

Peel and wash onions. Core top of onion about 1 inch deep in a V shape. Salt and pepper in core hole approx. 1/4 teaspoon each of salt and pepper. Place 1 tablespoon of butter in hole. Wrap with foil and twist the foil together (4 corners) above the cored portion of the onion. This will help in rotation movement to cook all of the onion.

Cook until tender (squeeze) and onion should feel like well cooked potato. Some browning at bottom makes for a better tasting onion.
