Ingredients
1# large freshwater shrimp or prawns
1 6 oz jar chile sauce
1 tbsp. crushed red chile flakes
2 tbsp garlic. crushed
1 lemon,squeezed with 1/2 tsp. zest.
2 tbsp. EVOO (olive oil)
Preparation
de-vein shrimp and partially butterfly.( you want the shrimp to stand upright on the grill) combine all ingredients and let marinade 2 hrs. or overnight.reserve the marinade for basting while cooking. Grill shrimp 10 to 12 minutes over medium-hot coals or on a cast iron grill on the stove top.
