Ingredients

2 cups water

1 package yeast

1 tsp salt

2 cups floor (approximately)

1 tbsp fennel seeds

Preparation

Dissolve yeast in 2 cups very warm water (100 to 110 degrees). Stir in salt. Slowly stir in flour until consistency of pancake batter. Mix in fennel. Let rise for about 2 hours. Drop dollops into hot oil.
