Ingredients

1 C. coarsely grated Gruyere cheese

1/2 C. good quality mayonnaise

1/4 C. finely chopped onion

1 t. dijon mustard

30 pimento stuffed olives, cut in half

Firm white bread, such as Pepperidge Farm Sandwich White

Preparation

Mix first 4 ingredients. Trim crust from bread. Cut bread in half into triangles or use decorative cutters. Spread cheese mixture on bread and broil until lightly browned. Remove from oven and top and top with olive halves. Can also be topped with sun dried tomatoes or roasted red peppers.
