Ingredients
3 halibut steaks-1 to 1 1/2 inches thick
Grapefruit Butter Sauce:
1/4 c melted butter
1/8 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp marjoram
2 c grapefruit sections
Preparation
combine butter, paprika, salt, marjoram and juice from sectioning grapefruit (1 1/2-2 tbl) place halibut on aluminum foil on broiler pan brush fish with grapefruit butter sauce place in preheated broiler about 2 inches from heat broil under medium heat until fish is lightly browned-5-7 minutes turn fish, brush again and continue to broil about 5 minutes longer-basting several times with sauce anout 3 minutes before fish is done-place grapefruit sections on top brush again with sauce to serve:cut steaks in half garnish with additional grapefruit sections and parsley if desired
