Ingredients
seeds from 6 cardamom pods;
1 tablespoon oil or ghee;
2/3 cup farina;
1/3 cup sugar;
pinch of salt;
1 cup mixture of milk and water;
2 tablespoons raisins, soaked and plump
Preparation
Over medium high heat melt the oil or ghee. Add the cardamom seeds. When you begin to smell their aroma add the farina. Fry until pinkish brown. Add the suger, mix. Add the milk/water mixture and raisons and keep stirring until it is the desired degree of dryness. Turn out onto a plate and with a spoon and knife press it into a square. Cut into pieces.
