Ingredients
8 slices bread, brioche or sourdough
8 oz sliced ham
1/3 C sun dried tomatoes, drained
8 slices aromatic cheese
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1/3 cup milk
sea salt and pepper
butter for cooking
Preparation
Whisk together the eggs, milk, salt and pepper. Dip one side of each slice of bread in the egg mixture. Drain off excess. Heat the butter in a large nonstick frying pan over high heat. Place bread in pan and layer ham, cheese and tomatoes. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden and cheese is melted.
