Ingredients

1/2 c water

1/4 t salt

1/3 c quick cooking grits

1 12 oz can evaporated milk

1 1/2 c chopped cooked ham

1 c shredded cheddar

1 T chopped fresh parsley

1 t dry mustard

1-2 t hot sauce

3 large eggs, slightly beaten

Preparation

Bring water and salt to a boil in large saucepan; stir in grits. Remove from heat; over and let stand 5 minutes (mixture will be thick). Stir in milk and remaining ingredients. Pour into a lightly greased 9 1/2 inh quiche dish or deep dish pieplate.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving
