Ingredients

5 lbs ham (with bone in)

Water

3 medium potatoes (cubed)

5 c. all purpose flour

5 eggs

1 c. milk

salt

pepper

Preparation

  1. Place ham in large pot and cover with water
  2. Boil to make ham broth
  3. Cut ham into cubes and set aside
  4. Place potatoes in broth to cook while you are mixing dough
  5. In large mixing bowl, mix flour, eggs, and milk to form soft dough (you may need to add a little more milk)
  6. Roll dough into 1/8" to 1/4" thickness
  7. Cut dough into 1" by 3" rectangles
  8. Drop dough into broth one piece at a time
  9. Cook until dough is done
  10. Add Ham
  11. Salt and pepper to taste
