Ingredients

1/2 tsp salt & pepper to taste

1/4 cup butter

1/4 cup chopped onions

1/4 cup water

1/4 cup flour

2 cups diced raw potatoes

3 cups milk

1.5 cups cooked ham (~1.5 lbs)

1 -16oz bag of broccoli

cheddar cheese

Preparation

  1. Melt butter, add onions, potatoes and water in pot. Cover and bring to a boil. Simmer until potatoes5 are tender (~15 minutes)

  2. Stir in flour and seasonings. Stir in vegetables and ham and then add milk slowly.

  3. Cook until thickened and stirring constantly. Let simmer.

  4. CAUTION: WATCH because milk will burn on bottom.

  5. Serve with crumbled cheese on top.
