Ingredients
1 lb hamburger
1 C chopped onion
1 c chopped potato
1 c chopped carrot
1 c shredded cabbage
1/2 c diced celery
1 qt tomatoes
1/4 c rice
bay leaf
1/2 t thyme
1/4 t basil
3/4 t salt
1/8 t pepper
1 1/2 qt water
Preparation
Brown hamburger & drain off grease
Add remaining ingredients and simmer for an hour or more
