Ingredients

1 1/2 ground beef, browned and drained

6 c water

3 cubes beef boullion

1 lg can crushed tomoates

8 oz tomatoe sauce

1/4 c ketchup

2/3 c barley

2 bay leaf

2 c chopped carrots

1 1/2 c chopped celery

1 c chopped onion

1 chopped pepper

celantro to taste

Preparation

combine all ingredients and simmer 1 hour
