Ingredients
300 g cubed lamb/mutton/goat on the bone
1 tsp ground turmeric
1.5 tsp ground black pepper
1 stick of cinnamon
1 Tbsp freshly ground ginger
0.25 tsp ground cayenne pepper
2 Tbsp butter
2 stick chopped celery
2 medium onions chopped
1 bunch coriander chopped
1 large can chopped tomatoes
7 cups water/chicken stock
1 cup green/black lentils
1 can drained beans (any type)
100 g noodles
2 Tbsp flour
1 juiced lemon
Preparation
Heat and stir meat, turmeric, pepper, cinnamon, ginger, cayenne, butter, celery, onion, coriander.
Add tomatoes without juice, water/stock, lentils; boil and reduce to simmer for 2 hours.
Add beans and noodles and cook for 10 mins; add flour mixed with tomato juice and cook for 5 mins.
