Ingredients

Sauce

1 med onion, minced

2 cloves garlic

1/4 c. Olive oil

1 lb ground beef

1 28 oz can tomatoes

Italian sweet sausage

1 6 oz can tomato paste

4 t. salt

1/8 t. Cayenne

1 t. Sugar

Pinch basil

2 cups water

Lasagna

8 oz lasagna noodles

2 T. Salt

1 lb ricotta

8 oz Mozzarella

Tomato meat sauce

1/2 c. Grated Parmesan

Preparation

Sauce Brown onion and garlic in oil. Add meat and cool until browned. Add remaining ingredients and simmer uncovered about two hours Lasagna Arrange in baking dish, 3 layers of each: noodles, ricotta, Mozzarella, sauce and Parmesan cheese. Bake about 45 minutes at 325 Frozen: bake 75 minutes at 350. Cover with alum foil until last 5 minutes
