Ingredients

70g white sugar

125g butter

1 1/2c flour

3 cap fulls milk

Golden syrup

1 tsp baking power

3c Fresh fruit

Preparation

  1. Prepare a large baking tray by spreading out non-stick baking paper over it. Spray with oil id desired.
  2. Cream sugar and butter together in a mixing bowl.
  3. In a sauce pan heat up the milk until warm.
  4. Add as much golden syrup as you want to the milk and stir.
  5. Add the baking powder to the milk and golden syrup.
  6. When the syrup is foaming pour it into the creamed butter and sugar and add the flour.
  7. Mix thoroughly.
  8. Roll dough into balls and spread onto tray.
  9. Squash down balls with a fork.
  10. Bake at 200for 25minutes. 11.Wait to cool before severing. 12.Serve with cups of mixed fruit.
