Ingredients
70g white sugar
125g butter
1 1/2c flour
3 cap fulls milk
Golden syrup
1 tsp baking power
3c Fresh fruit
Preparation
- Prepare a large baking tray by spreading out non-stick baking paper over it. Spray with oil id desired.
- Cream sugar and butter together in a mixing bowl.
- In a sauce pan heat up the milk until warm.
- Add as much golden syrup as you want to the milk and stir.
- Add the baking powder to the milk and golden syrup.
- When the syrup is foaming pour it into the creamed butter and sugar and add the flour.
- Mix thoroughly.
- Roll dough into balls and spread onto tray.
- Squash down balls with a fork.
- Bake at 200for 25minutes. 11.Wait to cool before severing. 12.Serve with cups of mixed fruit.
