Ingredients
Casserole ingredients:
2 lb. hashbrowns
½ c. margarine, melted
16 oz. sour cream (2 cups)
1 can cream of chicken soup
2 c. cheddar cheese, shredded
1 t. salt
Topping ingredients:
2 c. cornflake crumbs
½ c. margarine, melted
Preparation
Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Put into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish. Mix topping ingredients together and sprinkle of top of casserole. Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Then uncover and bake 20 minutes longer. This may be made ahead of time and refrigerated but requires an extra 10-15 minutes baking time.
