cup cornmeal

cup uncooked instant rice

cup quick-cooking rolled oats

cup uncooked bulgur

1/4

cup uncooked couscous

cup boiling water

1/2

cup low-fat cottage cheese

1/4

teaspoon garlic powder

1/4

teaspoon pepper

tablespoons soy sauce

Nonstick cooking spray

Preparation

Heat grill. In medium bowl, combine cornmeal, rice, oats, bulgur and couscous. Stir in boiling water. Cover; let stand 5 minutes.

Add cottage cheese, garlic powder, pepper and soy sauce; mix well. Shape into 6 patties, 1/2 inch thick. Spray both sides of each patty with nonstick cooking spray.

When ready to grill, place patties on gas grill over medium heat or on charcoal grill 4 to 6 inches from medium coals. Cook 6 to 10 minutes or until thoroughly heated, turning once. Serve in buns.
