Ingredients

3 cups flour

1/3 cup sugar

2 1/2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp baking soda

3/4 tsp salt

1 1/2 sticks butter

1 cup buttermilk

Preparation

Mix the dry ingredients in a food processor, pulse in the butter. Empty mix into a bowl and fold in buttermilk. Add goodies (white chocolate chips, craisins, dried apricots etc.) Divide into 12 scones on a cookie sheet and bake at 425 for 12 minutes or until just brown on top.
