Ingredients
1 c butter
4 squares good quality unsweetened chocolate
2 1/2 c sugar
6 eggs
1 1/2 c flour
nuts
1/2 tsp baking powder
pinch salt
tsp vanilla
Preparation
Melt chocolate and butter in double broiler or in microwave (go slowly so you don’t burn) Add sugar and when cooled a bit (so you don’t cook eggs) add eggs one at a time, whisk into batter. Add bp to flour along with nuts and salt. Mix into brownies stirring just until mixed or top will crack. Bake for 25 min and check with toothpick. Best if they’re a bit gooey. Bake a bit more if they aren’t done.
