Ingredients

1 loaf day old Italian bread

1/2 C Butter or Margarine

1 tsp parsley (dried)

1/4 tsp oregano (dried)

1/4 tsp dill weed (dried)

1 clove garlic minced

Parmesan Cheese (grated)

Preparation

Use heavy duty aluminum foil to form a boat to hold the finished bread. Thoroughly blend ingredients butter through margarine. Set aside. Slice the loaf of Italian bread into diagonal 1/2 inch slices-leaving the slices connected at the bottom. Butter both sides of each slice leaving loaf intact. Place in prepared foil boat and sprinkle top with Parmesan cheese, Bake at 400 degrees 20 to 30 minutes. Serve warm.
