Ingredients
1 lb candied cherries(chopped)
1 lb dates(chopped)
1 lb golden raisins
4 cups pecans pieces
1 cup real butter
3 cups granulated sugar
3 eggs
3 cups flour(reserve 1/2 cup for coating fruit and nuts)
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla
Preparation
In very large mixing bowl, beat together butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well. Add flour and soda and mix well. Add vanilla. In large bowl coat fruit and nuts with reserved flour and Add to mixture mixing well( very clean hands work best for mixing) Drop by teaspoons on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 350 for about 10-12 min. or until golden brown.
