Ingredients
1 sleeve saltine crackers
1 cup butter
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 cups chocolate chips
1 cup chopped almonds, toasted
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350* Spray cookie sheet with Pam. Lay crackers out on cookie sheet.
Melt butter and brown sugar in med pan on med heat. Stirring often, heat the mixture for 3-5 minutes until it turns into a nice caramel-colored sauce.
Pour this mixture over the crackers until they are completely covered. Bake 15 minutes.
Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with chocolate chips. Tent with foil for 3-5 minutes. Spread chocolate out over toffee mixture and top with nuts.
Cool completely then break into pieces. Store in fridge.
