Ingredients

6 eggs, separated

1 cup sugar

1 pint cream

1 pint milk

1 pint bourbon

1 ounce rum

Fresh nutmeg

Preparation

Beat egg yolks with mixer until they are lemon yellow. Beat in 1/2 cup of the sugar. Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Mix in 1/2 cup of the sugar. Fold egg white into yolks. Mix in all remaining liquid ingredients, and stir to blend. Chill. Garnish with freshly grated nutmeg.
