Preparation

Depending on how much bread you have to cook, create a mixture from the above ingredients, using more olive oil than other ingredients. I usually cook a full oven tray full of bread. After I have put a light layer of bread down, I cover it with the oil mixture and then add another layer of bread and cover that, to ensure that all pieces are evenly coated. I cook them for about 30 minutes at350 degrees, but that may vary. Make sure that they are a light toasted brown before taking them out. Croustini keep very well when in a closed package-for a few weeks and still taste great, and crunchy!
