Ingredients

5 eggs

1-1/2 cup sugar

2 T. vanilla

1/3 cup white corn syrup

1- 13 oz. can evaporated milk

1 pint whipping cream

Preparation

Beat 5 eggs until light. Add 1-1/2 cup sugar, 2 T. vanilla, 1/3 cup white corn syrup. Mix well. Add 1 large can (13 oz.) evaporated milk. Mix well and pour into freezer. Add 1 pint whipping cream. Fill with milk (to last crossbar on paddle). Crank until hard, but avoid freezing too hard or will have icy consistency. As a variation, add mashed bananas with some lemon juice; or use crushed, cooked pineapple.
