Ingredients

2 1/4 cups flour

1/2 cup butter

1/4 cup cornstarch

1/3 cup milk

6 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder

1/2 tsp vanilla

1/2 tsp salt

3/4 tsp peppermint extract

1 cup sugar

Dark chocolate

Preparation

Whisk together flour, cornstarch, cocoa, and salt. In a separate bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add milk and extracts. This will look curdled.

Gradually add in flour mixture. Shape dough into 2 logs about 1 1/2" in diameter. Wrap in plastic wrap freeze for 2 hours.

Preheat oven to 375.

Slice dough no more than 1/4 inch thick. Bake 13-15 minutes.

Coat with melted dark chocolate.
