Ingredients
pasta, egg noodles
Butter, 3T
flour, 2T
Chicken broth, 1 cup
Milk, 2%, 1 c.
Sharp Cheddar, grated, 1 cup
Tuna, 2 cans
peas, 1 cup
Salt
Pepper
Bread Crumbs or panko crumbs
Preparation
Cook pasta according to directions.
While pasta is cooking—
Melt 3 T. butter in a sauce pan.
Add 2 T. flour and mix letting bubble gently for a couple of minutes.
Add 1 c. chicken broth and stir until it begins to thicken.
Add 1 c. milk and stir until it also thickens.
Add 1/2-1 cup sharp cheddar cheese.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Pour over noodles and stir.
Add 2 cans tuna
Add 1 c. peas and stir well
Top with bread crumbs.
Put in oven for 40 minutes at 350 degrees.
