Ingredients
4 medium carrots
1/4 cup honey
1/2 ginger ale
1 tsp ground sage
1 tsp ground thyme
1 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp parsley
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp flour
1 apple, thinly sliced
Preparation
Cut carrots into bite sized pieces. Thinly slice apple. Put apple in a saucepan with honey, ginger ale, sage, thyme, parsley, cinnamon and flour, bring to a boil, then reduce to a low simmer. Meanwhile add carrots to a separate pot of boiling water, cook until soft. Add carrots to the honey-ginger mixture. Serve warm.
