Ingredients

2 Cups warm water

2 Cups whole wheat flour

1 Tbs. dry active yeast

1 ts. salt

1/3 Cup honey

1/3 Cup oil or melted butter

5 Cups all purpose flour

Preparation

dissolve yeast in water with honey and stir well

mix in whole wheat flour, salt, and oil or butter

work all purpose flour in gradually

knead for at least 10-15 minutes

place in well oiled bowl, cover with a towel and let rise until doubled in bulk

punch down dough and knead again

place in 2 well oiled 9X5 loaf pans and let rise until doubled in bulk

bake at 375 for about 30 minutes
