Ingredients
2 C flour
2 rounded tsp baking powder
1 level tsp salt
1 level tsp sugar
4 rounded Tbsp shortening
1 C milk
1/8 tsp soda
Preparation
Sift dry ingredients, add shortening and blend with pastry blender. Add milk and soda. After thoroughly incorporated, roll out and cut (on floured cutting board) into rounds or shape by hand into thin balls. Bake at 425º for 10-15 minutes.
