Ingredients

8 red bell peppers, coarsely chopped

8 green bell peppers, coarsely chopped

8 med. onions, coarsely chopped

16 to 20 hot or mild peppers, coarsely chopped

1 cup vinegar

1 cup vegetable oil

2 cups sugar

2 tsp. salt

1 medium size bottle of ketchup

garlic (optional)

2 pkg. “Jumbo” hot dog wieners, sliced 1/4" thick

Preparation

Add all ingredients except wieners into a large pot and cook on medium-high heat until tender crisp (if you cook further, the vegetables will turn to mush later). Add wieners and bring back to a boil. Put in quart size jars and seal. NO HOT BATH NEEDED.
