Ingredients

2 quarts milk

12 eggs

1 pound sugar

1 quart amaretto(optional)

Preparation

1.)Separate egg yolks from egg whites. Beat egg yolks until blended, add sugar, beat 10 minutes more.

2.)Meanwhile, have milk heated to near boiling point, then pour slowly into the egg yolk mixture.

3.)Beat egg whites in a separate bowl to a stiff froth, and add amaretto. Then, top each glass with beaten egg white. Serve Hot.
