Ingredients
16 oz Fresh Cranberries
5 c. Cranberry Juice
1/3 c. Honey
1 TBS. Black peppercorns
1/4 tsp. Crystallized Ginger*
2 Cinnamon Sticks + additional for stirring
1 Orange - zest in strips (pare) if possible
2 Cloves
1 Vanilla Bean - split (or 1 tsp high quality vanilla extract)
Preparation
With a sharp knife, pare the orange part of the peel into strips (or grate but only orange part).
Put all ingredients into large pot and bring to a boil until cranberries pop. Reduce heat to warm or low, cover and let steep for 15 minutes.
Serve with cinnamon sticks & sip happily.
