Ingredients
12 oz can (or soaked and boiled) chick peas
8 roasted garlic cloves
1 tbsp tahini (sesame paste)
1 tbsp each - olive and flax seed oil
2 tsp lemon juice
2 tbsp water
salt to taste
Preparation
Put all ingredients into a food processor. Blend until creamy. If too thick, add more water slowly. Refrigerate overnight and serve with vegetables or pita bread or corn chips. optional items to add or in place of garlic: rosemary - pesto - sundried tomato pesto - soy powder to add more protein
