Ingredients

1 head green cabbage

2 onions

butter

salt to taste

1 pound extra broad egg noodles

Preparation

  1. Dice cabbage, salt to taste, and let sit for an hour.
  2. Cook egg noodles and drain. 3.Saute onions in butter in a large pot, medium low heat. When onions are translucent and soft, add cabbage. Cover and cook for ten minutes.
  3. Add noodles and cook for an additional 10 minutes. Add salt and butter and serve.
