Ingredients

2 onions

1/2 T oil(bacon drippings)

1 tsp paprika

1 t vinegar

1 lb. beef cubes

2 1/2 T flour

salt to taste

1 t marjoram

1 T carraway seeds

1 1/2 qt water

1/2 lb potatoes

Preparation

Slice thin onion rings and fry in oil til slightly yellow. Add paprka and vinegar. Add cubed beef, salt, marjooram and carraway seeds to pan. Add 2 cups water and cook meat til tender - about 1 hr. Add flour , stir and add rest of water. Peel and dice potatoes. Add to pan and continue cooking until potatoes are soft. About 10 min.
