Ingredients
1 cup par-boiled rice
1 & 3/4 c cold water
1-2 peeled cooking onions halved
4-5 cloves of garlic minced
1-2 tsp Olive oil
1-2 tbls dried parsley
1 tsp salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
-Assemble all ingredients ahead for ease and no burning. -Heat pot on high, adding olive oil, add rice and stir constantly until some of rice becomes white then immediately add water. -add onions/garlic, stir -add salt/pepper/parsley, stir -cover and wait to come to good boil -turn heat to MINIMUM and let go for 20 minutes. YUMM!
