Ingredients
1 slab baby back pork ribs
6-8 lemon slices
dry barbecue rub (if desired)
4 sheet heavy-duty aluminum foil
your favorite sauce to serve with the ribs
Preparation
Cut rib slab in half. Grill over hot coals for 10 minutes per side (or broil in oven for 5 minutes per side). Layer aluminum foil sheets and place 1/2 rib slab (meat side down) on foil. Layer with 1/2 of the lemon slices. Stack additional 1/2 of slab on top and repeat lemon layer. Seal foil and place in oven at 375 for 1 hour. Remove from, DO NOT open foil, and place in an ice chest. In NO SOONER than 2-1/2 hours you are ready to serve. They will be hot and the meat will fall off the bones. You can wait up to 4 hours and still have pleasantly warm ribs.
