Ingredients

1 cup mint leaves, pressed down

2 tbsp loose tea leaves or 2 tea bags

2 strips lemon peel

4 cups boiling water

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/3 cup lemon juice

Ice cubes

4 lemon slices

4 sprigs fresh mint

Preparation

In medium bowl, combine mint, tea, and lemon peel; cover with boiling water and let steep 15 minutes. Strain and stir in sugar; cool completely and mix in lemon juice. To serve, half fill 4 glasses with ice cubes, add mint tea and garnish each glass with a lemon slice and mint sprig.
