Ingredients

1 lb cauliflower, cut into florets

2 cloves garlic, chopped

5 green onions, chopped

3 Tbsp olive oil

1 tsp mustard seeds

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp ground turmeric

1 tsp ground almonds

Preparation

  1. heat 2 Tbsp oil in a skillet or wok over medium-high heat, add cauliflower and cook, stirring constantly 1-2 minutes (cauliflower will absorb the oil)
  2. Add 1/2 cup water, cover and cook 3-4 minutes, drain water and set cauliflower aside (do not overcook)
  3. heat remaining 1 Tbsp oil in the skillet/wok, add mustard seeds. (they will start popping, so watch out)
  4. Add garlic, salt and turmeric, stir, cover and cook for 2 minutes
  5. Add onions, almonds, and cauliflower and cook 3 minutes stirring constantly

serve immediately
